    Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join our Operations team! As the Procurement Manager, you will responsible for leading a team of buyers who will ensure that tools, materials, and products are ordered and delivered to meet Otter’s time to market needs.

    The successful candidate will have knowledge and a basic understanding of supply chain practices, specifically around purchasing and planning, consumer sales, as well as distribution and logistics. In addition, you must have experience using an ERP System (we use M3), be proficient in MS Excel, and be highly organized and detail oriented.  Oh, and the experience and ability to lead a team to success, is also critical.     Responsibilities

    • Manage a team of buyers, locally and globally; Coordinate global procurement efforts; Collaborate cross-functionally to highlight procurement needs
    • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies, business plans, policies, and procedures; Devise and implement solutions to optimize purchasing processes; Drive consistent processes across all team members
    • Analyze and report key functional metrics
    • Analyze and resolve procurement issues such as investigation of supply issues, process flaws, deviations from production plans; Assist in the resolution of MRP and Agile discrepancies
    • Review incoming supplier purchase orders to ensure adherence to the approved plan; Work closely with supply planning team to ensure customer needs are represented; Work through Supplier E&O both analysis and approval
    • Maintain and update operational plans daily to reflect shifts in supply
    • Analyze and communicate supply risks to the greater organization
    • Analyze and report Supplier On Time Delivery
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Logistics, Business Operations, Manufacturing preferred.
    • Minimum of four years’ previous experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, or related field required.
    • Minimum of one year in a mentor, supervisor, lead or manager role required.
