  • Overview

    Otter Products is seeking two Mechanical Engineering Interns to work on design focused projects. You will work under the guidance of Senior Engineering staff in our Fort Collins, CO office. Are you looking to learn more about the fundamentals of engineering? Are you interested in product design and testing? If so, this internship may be a fit for you!

    • Provide technical engineering assistance in support of product focused projects
    • Work with cross functional teams
    • Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) or other design software to model and prototype product design
    • Apply basics of engineering to analyze and solve technical problems
    • Support engineering teams with special projects as needed
    • Other duties as required


    • In progress of or recently completed (within 1 year) bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering is required.
    • Experience with SolidWorks 2013 (or later) preferred.


    Dates and Duration: The duration of this internship be from early April 2019 through August 2019 in Fort Collins, CO. This internship will be at least 20 hours per week but with the flexibility to be full time.


    Interns may be considered for full time positions in the same manner as any other applicant and must apply for an open position to be considered. Unfortunately, we simply do not have positions available to enable us to keep every awesome intern that comes through Otter Products.
