    Otter Products is currently recruiting for an Application Administrator to join our Information Technology team! The Application Administrator will be an administrator for our internal ERP system, responsible for business enablement through day-to-day administration and user support. This role partners extensively with our internal customers across engineering, supply chain, quality, program management and IT as well as with our third party hosting partner and external consultants.  Intrigued?     The administrator monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability. In addition, the administrator will coordinate new software releases, fixes and upgrades with technical teams and users, and will recommend new features or changes to configuration/ workflows based on user feedback.

     

    The successful candidate will possess practical business experience in application operations and server management, along with a general understanding of business functions including order fulfilment, supply chain, and finance.  Strong hands-on skills working with complex computer systems, along with strong verbal and written communications skills (including user training and support) are key to the success of this role.     Responsibilities

    • Ensures the reliable performance of ERP systems
    • Troubleshoots and resolves any ERP related hardware, software, user access or other problems
    • Key participant in any issue or outage analysis and resolution, in conjunction with support team, third party hosting provider, and consultants
    • Monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability
    • Coordinates new software releases, fixes and upgrades with technical teams and users
    • Recommends new features or changes to configuration/ workflows based on user feedback
    • Participates in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test and implement ERP systems and applications
    • Work with the other Application Administrators to learn the more complex tasks
    • While a highly self-directed Otter will thrive, they will be occasionally directed in several aspects of the work by the other, more experienced Administrators
    • Planned and unplanned evening and weekend work is required
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field of study required. Six years’ experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
    • Minimum of three years of related experience with an ERP Application Administration required.
    • Experience with Infor M3 ERP a strong plus.
