    The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for developing and directing recruiting strategies that identify and attract high-caliber candidates that will represent Otter’s core values. The ideal candidate will utilize their passion for recruiting and model servant leadership to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and hiring managers. This role will lead and support a team of amazing recruiters and ultimately contribute to the success of the overall goals for the Otter Relations team.


    The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of recruiting principles and practices, strong system experience and a proven ability to think and act strategically while still capable of digging in to the day to day work.     • Develop and lead the execution of the recruiting strategy for the organization, including specific strategies for identified key talent segments
    • Provide amazing leadership, coaching and mentoring to recruitment team members
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for recruiting and screening candidates
    • Partner within Otter Relations to track recruiting related metrics
    • Develop and maintain contacts and network within community groups, vendors and trade groups
    • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the applicant tracking system and act as subject matter expert
    • Initiate, negotiate and manage working relationships with vendors and external partners to facilitate the generation of high-quality candidates, pre-screening services and talent acquisition
    • Partner with legal on all employment visa activity including prevailing wage, job description alignment and/or posting
    • Ensure a consistent and positive employer brand for talent acquisition including:
    • Partner with marketing for ongoing maintenance of the Otter Products career website
    • Ensure our employer brand is represented consistently in social media
    • Lead quarterly networking initiatives that align with key talent segment strategies, immediate recruiting needs or other internal Otter Relations initiatives (i.e. benefit open enrollment)
    • Continually evaluate candidate touchpoints within the recruiting/onboarding process and recommend/execute improvements
    • Lead creation and maintenance of interview structures and documentation
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
    • Other duties as required


    • Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum four years of additional work experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
    • Minimum four years of recruiting experience required.
    • Minimum one year of experience in a mentor, leader, supervisor or manager role required.
    • AIRS certification(s) preferred.
