    The successful candidate will have the knowledge and basic understanding of supply chain practices - specifically around purchasing, planning, consumer sales, as well as distribution and logistics.  In addition, basic knowledge of S&OP process, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a successful team of people is a must.     Responsibilities

    • Acting liaison cross-functionally between Sales and Supply Chain
    • Responsible for inventory strategy execution, inventory optimization and inventory balancing across warehouses
    • Explore and implement ideas to reduce process time for creation of an Operational Plan
    • Explore and implement inventory reduction strategies
    • Review production plans based on incoming supply, demand, and sales channel strategy; Analyze and validate that plans are executed properly; Review incoming supplier purchase orders, manufacturing orders as well as customer sales orders to ensure we are adhering to the approved plan
    • Identify and propose solutions for various improvement opportunities within the planning organization
    • Work with the supply planning team to determine the appropriate product mix to support sales strategy
    • Review incoming supplier purchase orders, manufacturing orders as well as customer sales orders to ensure we are adhering to the approved plan
    • Maintain and update operational plans daily to reflect shifts in supply and/or demand
    • Responsible for managing product availability, inventory turns, and total inventory value; Analyze and report on inventory performance levels.
    • Manage new and existing VMI customers at established SLA
    • Provide accurate information concerning the Supply Chain performance KPI's
    • Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies
    • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Logistics, Business Operations, Manufacturing preferred.
    • Minimum of four years of previous experience in supply chain, operations, or related field required.
    • Minimum of one year in a mentor, supervisor, lead or manager role required.
    • ERP System experience required, M3 preferred.
    • Experience in MS Excel required.
