    Our customers are very important to us, so it is important for Otter Products to have people “in the field” to build strong relationships and ensure the best possible customer service. We are in need of high quality Field Account (Marketing) Representative based in France (Ile de France region) to help us maintain the level of personal service we demand of ourselves for our customers. The Field Account (Marketing) Representative (or Otter Solutions Representative as we like to call them) will provide a helpful and knowledgeable presence of Otter Products in major retailers, distributors and carrier account locations across France as well as supporting our wider channel partners and enterprise accounts when required. This role will partner with current accounts and our account managers to build relationships, educate customers about our products and participate in promotional events.

     

    The right candidate has excellent communication skills, a very high level of passion and energy, the ability to work independently and to establish and maintain strong lasting relationships with all relevant stakeholders in the key stores/partner locations throughout France. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of our partners and customers and is committed to ensuring superior customer service, and high levels of engagement and satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of mobile devices and accessories industries and Otter Products business and products
    • Create and maintain strong lasting partner relationships built on Customer engagement, commitment, and customer service
    • Present Otter Products solution to a wide array of sales channels including retail, enterprise and small business teams
    • Provide best in class training to partners, event personnel, distributor internal sales staff and key retail staff on the details of OtterBox and LifeProof brands and instructing partners on how to maximize OtterBox and Lifeproof sales by representing the brands as our Brand Ambassador
    • Participate in promotional events and trade shows in support of Otter Products marketing initiatives, creating customer value and business growth in targeted channels
    • Delivering successful promotions, as guided by account managers, in conjunction with key partners, retailers or carrier accounts
    • Consult and advise customers about products and product uses, while emphasizing product features and demonstrating technical knowledge of our products
    • Coordinate and lead product training classes to medium and large groups in multiple locations in the retail channel, utilising the relationships with customers to follow up on training needs.
    • Develop and maintain detailed records of customer visits and activity, and prepare weekly reports to define customer value
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and create the best possible experience for the customer with Otter Products
    • Develop and share best practices from the role than can assist in standardising and removing complexity of the Otter Products proposition, as well as defining needs for additional training and skills development

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years’ sales experience or equivalent educational background
    • Fluent (written/oral) French & English. Another European language would be advantageous
    • Understanding of selling principles to promote sales & marketing activities
    • Experience with CPG (consumer packaged goods) a plus
    • Experience in retail sales, retail consumer electronics industry is highly advantageous
    • Demonstrable principles of customer service including how to meet quality standards and evaluate customer satisfaction
    • Exercise superior professional judgment to do what is right for the company and the customer at all times
    • Ability to work independently and be part of a remote team
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite® and ability to quickly learn new software
    • Ability to adapt to and foster change
    • Full clean driving licence
    • Based preferably in Ile de France
    • Willingness to travel – up to 60% of the role
