The Role

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist, based in Hong Kong, is responsible for managing the OtterBox and LifeProof family of brands, including their use in digital marketing, advertising, e-mail marketing campaigns, product launches and online market places across APAC.

 

The role will report to the Director of E-Commerce as a member of the Marketing team.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing 

  • Plan and implement digital marketing strategies, covering search, social, display and affiliate marketing to increase awareness, drive web traffic and generate sales conversions
  • Manage online media plan and spend, with focus on but not limited to social platforms
  • Provide insights to and collaborate closely with content marketing team in generating creatives that maximize ROI
  • Manage and maintain brand Facebook and Instagram Stores to generate additional revenue
  • Work cross-functionally and with external agencies to ensure campaigns in line with company objectives
  • Generate digestible reports to facilitate business analysis, cross-functional discussion and efficiencies
  • Communicate regularly with our global colleagues (US & EMEA) to share best practices and also align on global standards and strategies
  • Foster relationships with major media partners, including but not limited to Google and Facebook to explore industry best practices and new ways to improve ROI

Market Places Support

  • Align with business managers to determine products to be promoted and implement digital support (in-platform or external) on APAC market places such as Tmall, JD, Amazon, Rakuten, Lazada and more to achieve revenue goals
  • Communicate with distributors/partners whom fulfill our chosen APAC marketplaces to ensure on-time product launches, increased sell-through, maximized ROI and an acceptable level of brand message consistency
  • Analyze and advise on competitive intelligence - how product, sales and marketers can position our product features out front
  • Work with marketing subject experts to align and ensure strategic promotion of product
  • Upload relevant content to cloud computing share drives for distributors / partners

Brand Mission

  • Leverage Global, APAC and market specific social media platforms and content to increase awareness of our brands, assisting with content, campaign planning and activation in order to engage target customers.
  • Generate consumer insights and translate them into successful brand initiatives. Turn market data into compelling insight which are actionable and relevant, and ensure these insights are address through adequate ideas and plans

  • Product Marketers, US (when applicable)
  • Brand, Channel & E-Commerce Marketers, APAC

Geographic scope of the role:  APAC

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in e-Business/ Digital Marketing / Communication or related disciplines;
  • 3years e-commerce / digital marketing working experience
  • Experience in official online store or marketplaces like Amazon, Rakuten, Tmall, JD & Lazada
  • Experience in various digital marketing functions (Social, SEO, SEM, Analytics, Affiliate Marketing, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Energetic, proactive, think out of the box and able to work fast-paced working environment
  • Good command in Chinese and English
