Overview

We are hiring an Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable to join our Accounts Payable department in beautiful Fort Collins, CO! The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing various accounting related duties to support the organization. This may include accounts payable activities, billing, GL reconciliations, analyzing trends and cash management.

Responsibilities

  • Review, process, and reconcile large volumes of invoices with timeliness and accuracy and coordinate with cross functional teams to resolve discrepancies  
  • Process credit memos
  • Process weekly payments to vendors
  • Prepare weekly aging and other various reports
  • Manage invoice approval and coding
  • Assist in 1099 process and filing
  • Exercise judgment to do what is right for the company at all times
  • Manage inquiries from suppliers, vendors, and internal customers exemplifying professionalism throughout all communications
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
  • Month-end close related responsibilities
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum three years of work experience in accounting required. Experience in accounts payable preferred.

USD $20.67/Hr.

For US Based Roles Only - Compensation Range Maximum

USD $24.00/Hr.
