Otter Products is seeking a Brand & Marketing Specialist, EMEA (12 month Maternity Leave Cover) to join our savvy, fast-paced, results oriented team of marketing Otters! This Otter will be responsible for activating an integrated content optimisation strategy across OtterBox brand and product campaigns. This is an exciting role with great scope for development spanning the marketing mix, with a major focus on brand growth in the B2C space. Reporting to the Brand & B2B Marketing Manager, EMEA the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be future focused, while being able to work both independently and collaboratively, all with an eye to exponential brand growth and exploring new technologies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement the annual OtterBox B2C marketing strategy, adapting quarterly based on business priorities, partnering with Brand & B2B Marketing Manager, EMEA, key EMEA stakeholders and US/APAC counterparts
  • Drive OtterBox GAMING category, collaborating with the EMEA Product Team
  • Ensure all published content is relevant to the brand demographic, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice – optimising across all key business areas
  • Grow EMEA brand engagement (with revenue uplift) through successful content marketing and implementation of strategic marketing activations, integrating with the overall Marketing strategy
  • Develop creative content marketing frameworks that are scalable across major geographies, in line with business goals, for OtterBox brand overall, plus OtterBox GAMING category
  • Campaign planning and execution:
    • Optimising content and increasing brand engagement opportunities,
    • Crafting compelling brand/product stories to drive consumer (B2C) engagement
    • Deliver successful revenue driving sales assets and marketing activations support business growth
  • Partner with global marketing teams (US / APAC) to leverage brand content relevant to EMEA consumers, integrating to EMEA campaigns
  • Lead EMEA direction and activation within global campaigns
  • Plan, implement and drive the OtterBox EMEA Brand Ambassador program
  • Monitor results and deliver reports on campaign ROI/ROO, focused on driving long-term brand growth
  • Partner seamlessly within marketing/creative (design) and all cross-functional teams, with a Servant Leadership ethos, to deliver best in class activations
  • Run budget, including recommendations on spend prioritisation, based on market observations and business objectives
  • Monitor competitors and aspirational brands, maintaining strong market awareness with a focus on ‘continuous improvement’ in the business’ B2C marketing activation
  • Monitor trends, new marketing technology and innovations. Share knowledge internally to
    benefit marketing campaigns, supporting business goals
  • Administrative duties including document control, management of brand content calendar,
    budget tracking, invoicing, etc.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners centred on a Servant Leadership ethos
  • Copy write and edit marketing related materials as required
  • Travel as part of key projects and campaigns
  • Any other duties as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, communications)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Content Marketing/Brand Content Creation/Brand Content Optimisation or Digital Communications related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in brand management, optimising content via social media outlets and blogs, forums and online networking (social media savvy)
  • A proven track record in driving successful brand content campaigns, connecting with others to drive results
  • Marketing agency experience with multiple brands an advantage; experience with video projects is an advantage
  • Marketing project Management skills: Proven expertise bringing brand (content) campaigns from concept to fruition, with results
  • Expertise in influencer and agency management
  • Proactive approach to daily tasks and confidence in expressing new ideas.
  • Strong consumer marketing background. Ideal industry experience: FMCG, sports, outdoor, lifestyle, clothing, technology, accessories, fashion
  • B2B marketing background advantageous
  • Strong ‘on brand’ copy writing skills, including experience in working with social media and brand building experience in the digital space
  • Fluent written and oral English. Fluent written and oral French or German is advantageous .
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
