Overview

The successful candidate will work to better understand the needs of our customers and establish ways we can best meet and surpass those needs. This position will act as a liaison between various internal functions such as operations, sales, and finance to provide an end-to-end holistic customer operations solution for one of our key strategic customers.
They will understand the web of interaction between all parties involved with managing our valued customer accounts to accurately determine the best way to fill all customer requirements from a quality, quantity, and time perspective.
A customer centric mindset with strong communication, analytically minded and structured skill set is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete customer order fulfillment/inventory management process for a key strategic customer with a focus on exceptional customer service and monthly revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the OPI Sales Operations Specialists to support day-day activities.
  • Support the order processing workflow, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation for sales operations transactions.
  • Maintain the highest standard in customer service for our valued customers and acting as main internal point of contact for all internal relevant stakeholder both in EMEA and APAC.
  • Demonstrate and drive a customer focused approach in all communications with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation requirements are met to the highest standard.
  • Management of order database, including review, approval and completion of orders
  • Working closely with third-party logistics warehouse; creating picks, communicating customer delivery requirements, creating export documentation where needed and following up on deliveries.
  • Maintaining order fulfillment process flow, preparing all relevant shipping documentation, order replenishments and order prioritization.
  • Process sale samples for both EMEA & APAC regions.
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales Operations Specialist to develop training materials.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analysis and reports as needed.
  • Demonstrate and help develop a culture of operational excellence where customer focus, process improvements and team collaboration are the priority.
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualifications

  •  B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field/relevant experience required.
  • 1 years’ experience in order management with the FMCG industry is desired.
  • Distribution management dealing with retail customers is highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of MRP/ERP systems desirable.
  • Customer services methodologies and ability to resolve customer conflicts successfully.
  • Analytical thinking with keen attention to detail is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience and strong proficiency with spreadsheet, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint are desirable.
  • Ability to work with large amount of data and creatively seek information to improve processes, find solutions to business issues, and drive resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential – experience in interacting with internal and external customers with the ability to communicate clearly in a global market.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, with an excitement toward change.
  • Proven initiative (self-starter) and responsibility demonstrated through prior work experience.
  • Team player with positive attitude.
