Otter Products is recruiting for a Materials Program Manager to join our Product team in Fort Collins, CO! This role can work a hybrid schedule, working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

 

As the Materials Program Manager, you will guide the collaboration of cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects that identify, analyze, and mitigate risks with a focus on supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify and propose solutions to key program risks, take ownership and improve internal standards and processes, applying them throughout the organization, while communicating project/program statuses across all levels of the business.

You will be able to work with minimal supervision, lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects through the Product Life Cycle (PLC), including planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities ensuring adherence to project scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk identification, and mitigation plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide support throughout sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.
  • Participate in managing supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align material procurement with project schedules and budgets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and engineering stakeholders to develop supplier selection process for piece parts or outsourced assemblies and identify supply chain risks supporting sourcing decisions.
  • Partner with Cost Engineering team to perform regular cost rollups and analyze product cost performance to drive corrective action as required to achieve product cost targets and manage the product cost roadmap prior to production release.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of four years’ Program Management experience required.
  • A background in procurement, commodity management, sourcing experience, or other Supply Chain related field preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Minimum

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $93,000.00/Yr.
