Overview

The Regional Manager Nordics is responsible for the overall turnover with the Nordic region and takes the lead on key accounts identifying and building long-term strategic relationships with key partners throughout the region. They are responsible for driving sales & marketing opportunities within their region and developing strategic plans to identify and penetrate markets in the region, as well as working to increase profitability within the region, without impacting revenue growth.

 

The ideal candidate would be based in Stockholm, Sweden and be required to travel across Sweden, Denmark and Norway for face-to-face customer meetings.

 

The Regional Manager Nordics will report to the Regional Director North and role model Otter Products Core Values as well as holding team members accountable to these principles.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and implementation of a successful sales & marketing strategy within the region to build on the OtterBox channels already in place, via new account acquisition, existing account management and account expansion, to ensure that all channels (Enterprise, Retail, Online, Telco) are growing successfully.
  • Lead the identification of growth opportunities across the region and supporting team members to drive growth opportunities within their accounts as well as developing new accounts.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals and plans to deliver and exceed company revenue goals.
  • Through the principles of Otter Products Core Values, coach and develop other team members to achieve and drive business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a long-term strategic relationship with our enterprise channel partners in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, leverage execution support through team members.
  • Develop and deliver innovative channel strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange selling strategies and marketing information.
  • Maintain detailed customer records, managing and tracking leads, sales, KPI’s and metrics.
  • Manage, develop and support the Account Manager responsible for developing and maintaining business in the Nordic region.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective merchandising and promotions to positively impact successful buying programs and content, with a focus on commercial and operational success.
  • Report weekly, monthly and quarterly as required on activities on all the Nordic Region sales activities.
  • Manage long-term complex sales cycles and navigating large procurement organizations and processes within the Nordic region.
  • Travel to trade show appearances and other events to meet with customers and partners throughout the Nordic and EMEA region.
  • Understanding how organisations work, know how to get things done through formal channels and informal networking.
  • Serve as champion of product knowledge and training for both existing and newly launched Otter products
  • Manage a sales outlook, forecasting and the development of operational plans and systems for Nordic enterprise business and providing guidance where required on best practices, problem resolution, sales strategies, product information and pricing.
  • Maintain detailed customer records, manage and track leads, sales, KPI’s and metrics.
  • Develop and manage professional working relationships with cross-functional team members as well as external vendor partners and partner on projects supporting brand and client objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and create the best possible experience for the customer with Otter Products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent related experience.
  • 10+ years consumer electronics experience with demonstrated history of accomplishment in the areas of retail sales and distribution management as well as new account acquisition (Sales Hunter) and revenue growth.
  • Excellent knowledge of enterprise/online/retail and distribution sales challenges and how to sell successfully through distribution channels to deliver significant retail/online/enterprise revenues.
  • 2+ years’ hands-on people leader experience
  • Knowledge of Nordic region Enterprise, Consumer Electronics and Telco market.
  • Strong track record of exceeding challenging sales targets while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic thinker. Able to take key product features, benefits, messages combined with knowledge of retail and business analytics and define new strategies and tactics to exploit opportunities.   
  • A planner and a closer. Articulates the big picture plan and sets expectations of partners to deliver against it. 
  • Knowledge of current and possible future trends and information affecting the business and organisation.
  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate in a variety of communication settings and styles.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking, and working under pressure.
  • Regular travel across Sweden, Denmark and Norway for face-to-face customer meetings is required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Fluent written and oral Swedish and English.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Based in Sweden, ideally Stockholm
