Overview

Otter Products is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Software Engineer, Integrations to join our dynamic Information Technology team! This role is based at our Fort Collins, CO headquarters working a hybrid schedule.

 

As the Sr. Software Engineer, Integrations you will be a key member of our Application Integrations team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing robust integrations that streamline data flow across enterprise systems, third-party vendors, and our B2B customer platforms.

 

This role is critical to both maintaining existing integrations and driving the design and implementation of new ones. You’ll leverage MuleSoft to build scalable, reliable integrations across Otter’s core business systems including Infor, Salesforce, AgilePLM, and our custom-built AWS service layer.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a core member of the engineering team, with a focus on application integrations, EDI, and APIs.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to analyze requirements and design scalable, reliable integration solutions.

  • Own the full lifecycle of integration pipelines—from design and implementation to ongoing maintenance—with an emphasis on API and data integrations.

  • Provide accurate effort estimates for projects to support planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery.

  • Participate in end-to-end integration testing to support both new initiatives and incident resolution.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance integration performance, with a focus on monitoring, observability, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and supporting their technical growth and development.

  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other Information Technology related field preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of five years of software development/integrations/programming experience including the use of MuleSoft is required.
  • Experience in Messaging (JMS/RabbitMQ/Anypoint MQ), Web API – SOA, REST, XML, YAML, CSV, TCP, WebSocket, HTTP, REST JSON, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP is preferred.

USD $125,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $165,000.00/Yr.
